Took a Break

Today for Makerspace I really didn't feel like doing my flight project so what I did was draw Belle from Beauty and the Beast, I really love how it turned out. Although the head and hair shape turned out good it was a challenge to draw the eyes there were times that I could not get the shape right and it was a little bit irritating because when I went back to erase and try again the area turned black from redrawing and erasing over and over. So after a while of doing this I realized that no matter how many times I erased the black pigment would get worse and worse so I ended up just erasing the eyes and try to continue with that tomorrow. I didn't end up finished the head either because I spent so much time trying to get the eyes right I didn't make it to the head but so far the head is going great. The shapes involved to make the head were very easy, I've come to a realization that because I am practicing a lot on making circles I'm starting to get better and better which is amazing and I'm so happy to see. Lastly, I wanted to mention because I worked several days working on hair I'm starting to see a good change in the way I draw hair its becoming more neat and takes less time to do. Without further a due lets stop with all the blubber blabber, and here is the still in progress drawing:

Materials:

Blank Paper

Mechanical Pencil

Thank you so much for staying tuned for today's blog make sure to stay tuned for tomorrow's (where I will either draw or work on my Flight PBL, depending on how I feel. :) :)

Plan for Future Drawings

For future drawings I really plan to focus on creating better shadows, it was a little difficult when I didn't have any charcoal pencils...
