Today for the Makerspace period I decided to perfect my skills of drawing realistically, yesterday I drew a dog and I said that I would try and improve it well I think I did here is yesterday's dog compared to today's dog:

I think I did a way better job than yesterday I think the big reason why this one looks so much better is because I went off of a better reference. (this was a video as apposed to a step-by-step image) Today I think that my only problems were drawing the hair obvious yet again a standard pencil isn't great for drawing hair but I think it got the job done, so I am defiantly planning to get drawing pencils and better paper so you can't see through it and so I can use the colored pencils that I was talking about because those require a rougher texture of paper. Smooth texture will not take the pencil very well, anyways I think I just need to improve the eyes and get a pencil that will perform better detail.

Next I obviously drew an eye it looks good but I still don't see as much improvement so I have decided to draw a little more complex one from a more complex reference photo because lately I have been just drawing from my head, so I will be starting to use a reference photo and use that to draw more complex eyes (this will start tomorrow). Overall here is the eye that I drew from my head so I had no problems plain simplicity:

Used colored pencils for color (sorry I'll try to take better pictures :) ;)

Materials:

Scratch Paper

Colored Pencil

Standard School Pencil

Thank you so much for reading today's blog post please come back for tomorrow's (February 13, 2019) blog post. BYE!!!!! :)

Plan for Future Drawings

For future drawings I really plan to focus on creating better shadows, it was a little difficult when I didn't have any charcoal pencils...
