Hi, everyone I hope you got lots of candy yesterday :) Today in Makerspace I worked on a really different type of project, today I worked on landscape basically just a setting (place),but it wasn't just any landscape today I drew Splash Mountain. If you are not familiar with Splash Mountain it is a very popular ride in Disneyland (and Disney World) based off of the Song of the South cartoon, every since I was little I've loved to go to Disneyland and ride the rides but Splash Mountain was a particular ride I was a little afraid of and if you've seen Splash Mountain you probably know why I was scared, of course that 70 ft drop. It wasn't until a couple years until I actually went on it and I loved it, Splash Mountain has become my favorite ride in all of Disneyland, if you ever get the opportunity to go to Disneyland or Disney World defiantly go ride it (trust me, it's not as scary as it seems), any ways to the drawing. While drawing the amazing attraction the only probably I had was drawing texture and because the ride has a a lot of texture it didn't turn out exactly how I'd imagine so I think I defiantly need to practice drawing texture but other than that it was a pretty easy sketch, so with out further a due, here is the drawing:

Materials:

Scratch Paper (ya, I put something behind while taking the picture so you can't tell)

Standard Paper

Thank you guys so much for reading my blog post and I hope you have a great President's Day Weekend, and I will write to you on Tuesday! BYE!!!!! :)

Plan for Future Drawings

For future drawings I really plan to focus on creating better shadows, it was a little difficult when I didn't have any charcoal pencils...
