Finished Cat drawing :(

Today for Makerspace I finished my cat drawing. I am really unhappy about the way it turned out yesterday I thought that it would me much easier to complete and make look realistic, but it turned out to be a total disaster. The initial sketch was very good I will give but it really doesn't look realistic due to the way I laid out the fur. Fur is one of the hardest things to draw you would think that it would be easy with just a couple of lines in a few places but it really is complicated. Sometimes you can get a really scratched or a messy result if your lines are to close together, another problem that you encounter when drawing fur is that each strand of multiple strands of hair have to be smaller than the other to make it look realistic it is really hard to get a uneven consistency that doesn't look fake. Although, I did continue the drawing until completion and this is how it turned out:
